Semester Two Week Twelev Part One ( Jamison Square in Portland, Oregon )

Peter Walker  Jamison Square in Portland, Oregon. Jamison Square is a one-acre park featuring a complex stepped stone wall. The park design includes three main elements: a fountain, a boardwalk, and an outdoor gallery. The stone fountain metaphorically expresses the idea of an “aquifer," as water pours out of the stone steps, filling up the gently sloping ground until the water is about 12 inches deep, at which point the water drains back out and the ground is dry. When the fountain is on, it is an object of play and delight for people of all ages. Alternatively when the fountain is turned off, the space functions as a shady plaza for special events.  To give the suggested space depth and a more authentic sense, personal graphic improvements have been used. In order to give twin motion a more genuine sensation of materials, a significant improvement is seen in the choice of materials. In order to illustrate prospective uses and bring the scene to life, I've added trees, a variety of ground-level planting, planters, benches, and garbage containers, as seen in the best practise example. I've also included people and cars to show potential uses. To further enhance the visualisation, I added shadows and weather. I also included pictures from many important points to give a more complete picture of the area.
